Summer Assignments
In order for our Calculus class to start off the 2012-2013 year well, it is critical that you complete the summer assignments. The assignments will to keep you fresh on your Trig/Pre-Calculus. You may call or email me with any questions by going to the "Contact Me" page.
You will have eleven mini assignments. You can view all assignments below. All problems come from the Preparation for Calculus chapter in our Calculus book. I have scanned the first thirty pages so you can study and complete the problems. I have also uploaded links to videos below from Khan's Academy which we will be using heavily in our class this year.
Make sure that you show all work and write legibly or you will not receive credit!!!
DO NOT COMBINE assignments, start each new assignment on a new page. Each assignment needs to be properly labeled with the assignment #, page # and exercise #’s.
All assignments are due the first day of school!!!!
I have not found an online Calculus textbook so I have scanned copies of the book in order to complete the problems below. To help you with the assignments below I will be posting videos for you to view.
Please Note: We will spend a little time going over these problems during the first few days of school, but you are expected to study and ATTEMPT THESE PROBLEMS ON YOUR OWN!!!. Solutions are posted below. Please be prepared for a test on these problems during the first or second week of school!!!!
HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!!!
